Geographic Atrophy (GA) is one of the advanced forms of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) which causes irreversible vision loss. Currently, there is no treatment available however several new therapies are being investigated.

Neovascular or wet AMD is a more aggressive form of advanced macular degeneration. It is caused by the growth of abnormal blood vessels in the retina and is currently treated with regular anti-VEGF injections.

Branch retinal vein occlusions (BRVO) and central retinal vein occlusions (CRVO) are caused by retinal vein blockages, which can occur as a result of high blood pressure and other lifestyle factors. Diabetic macula oedema (DMO) is a complication of diabetic retinopathy (DR), where blood vessels leak and causes swelling at the macula.
